Description

The bottles of the Erté Collection were designed by Russian deco-artist Erté and contain an extraordinary blend of precious Grande Champagne cognacs from the well-known château Courvoisier, considered one of the largest producers of cognac. Only 12.000 bottles were made of numbers 1 to 7. Courvoisier finally released a limited edition to commemorate the death of Erté in 1990, number 8, of which only 4.000 bottles were made. Each of the bottles’ design represents a different facet of the cognac making process.

The Courvoisier Erte Collection includes 8 different bottles of cognac. No. 1 to No. 7 of the Erte Collection bottle, and the No. 8 decanter of 1988. Romain de Tiroff, well known as Erté, designed the bottles of this limited edition: The visuals present the 7 steps of cognac making. The blends consist of rare Grande Champagne eau-de-vie, some of them are from the end of the 19th century, when Erté was born. The original launch of the collection consisted of 7 bottles, but in 1995 they included the 8th bottle, Inédit. Perfect condition and provenance. All original gift boxes for each of the 8 cognacs.
